A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Hard Stuck is an erotic turn-based dungeon crawler inspired by the game that created the roguelike genre, "Rogue".
The goal of the game is to fight your way through a dungeon filled with monsters and traps to reach the last floor, discovering the functions of obfuscated items and interacting with various curios along the way.
The game is played with the keyboard and one with numerical keys is recommended but not required.
Features:
- Procedurally generated dungeons.
- Multiple monsters with unique sex scenes.
- Lots of items and curios.
Requirements:
- A PC that can use the Vulkan graphics API.
Notes on the linux version:
- You may have to change the x86_64 files properties to be run as an executable to get it to work.
- This build has not been extensively tested.

I completed all cinematics except the book one. Could you give me some hints? The one in the game didnt really help me out thx

Game is pretty darn good! I love a porn game with actual deep gameplay. I think my only gripe is weapon/shield variation, as if you get a steel sword early on chances are you're not going to get anything better which feels like it screws balance a little bit, but thats something I expect to be fixed on its own as the game gets more fleshed out .Especially since its only 0.3 lol. I'm gonna keep an eye on this one, you got something good going on!
Hey, just wanted to ask how to catch the bath voyeur. I've been to the bath a few times already but nothing happens.

The blacksmith is missing after taking a bath. If you wait around by his anvil he will reveal the secret on his way back.

hi floppystack! really impressive work here on hard stuck! I'm a hobbyist 3d artist and have dabbled a bit with unity but wanna start working with godot. I like your approach to character design I think you've struck a really nice balance of detail vs economic and efficient models, but I was wondering how you might approach fur if you were to take it a step further? Have you any interest in pushing hard stuck on that front in the future or do you think higher fidelity fur would break the visual cohesion of the game? As I understand a lot of times fur is done in the game engine, I was curious if you've found godot has any tools for this?
I've been trying to find an approach to fur that would fit a style similar to hard stuck for quite sometime and its been kinda tough finding a satisfying solution.

I don't think Godot or Unity has any built in tools for fur. I believe most people just create hair cards in Blender or Maya and export them to the game engine. Or use some shell based fur shader.
This is super fun to play! I love all the monsters! Do you think you'll ever implement different player characters? I'd love to be able to play this as a male character!
Yes, the plan is for more playable characters. But my main priority right now is to get the base game to a more or less finished state.

I want to be able to say, the game aspect of this is great, while RNG sometimes sucks, having companions to help fight makes it worth while after the first few floors. But i would love to see new costumes like a skirt or dress type? Aside from that, you're very original in keeping it different for all the scenes, and that's more than most have done otherwise.
I think my save file corrupted and now I can't get start the game regardless of reinstall. Where is the save file located so I can delete it?
On windows you can find the save files in:
%appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\HardStuck\Saves
And on linux:
~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/HardStuck/Saves

the screen goes black after the first logo pops up and ive reinstalled the game and all but i cant seem to get the game working after one play.
Copy and paste the correct path for your operating system into the file browser.
The folder should contain two save files, one called hardstuck.sav and one called hardstuck_metaprogress.sav.

How to trigger scene play with frank and another monster or player with double monster ? I still can't trigger that scene
To start a threesome you need two of said monster nearby when choosing the fuck option. Then you simply select the threesome from the list that pops up.
Frank doesn't have any cinematics with other monsters in v0.3.
for what is altar, can it be used somehow?
You can drop items on it and it will tell you if they are blessed, cursed or neither. It will reveal the level of enchantment of weapons, shield, tomes and rings.
However it will not identify the rings.

i love this game and i wanted to ask you a few questions as someone who is interested in making an adult game, first off, how do you do you r models and animations? they are so unique and good! also what suggestions do you have for someone just starting out in the game dev world.
I am also curious as a godot game developer. How did you handle the liquid animations as well?
In blender I have a skeleton rig that manipulates a metaball object so I can see what I'm animating. I then export the rig and animations to godot where I sample the bone positions with a script and pass them to a raymarching shader.
Characters are sculpted in zbrush, then moved to blender for retopology, texturing, rigging and animation. It could all be done in blender, but I prefer zbrush for sculpting and I have one of the old perpetual licenses. I'm not sure if I would recommend it nowadays with the new pricing scheme though.
If you're just starting out with game development I would say start small, finish your projects and focus on learning.
ik this might be a big ask and all but if its possible can you make a mod or a little cheat mode for people that just want to find all the charecters constinly going form retry to retry to only have a small chance in finding the monsters we havent meet yet is tiring

Edit: When you recruit the kobold and you're wearing the cardboard clothes her hand clips a little through her pants. It's nothing major. I'm guessing it's because you made the animation with her naked or something. I haven't been able to get very far after that lol. But so far the update is amazing.

This game is so well done. Amazing 3D animations, and an actually really fun dungeon crawler with it, even if its a little simple once you get what's going on.
I'd love to see maybe some wearable armors down the line instead of the current clothes system, but I know that'd be a lot of work.

seems to be a bug that you cant press the same button twice in a row. makes walking extremely annoying
The newest update has some changes to how the game handles multiple input sources. Hopefully that fixed the stuck button situation.

Great game, only one thing that i had trouble with, managing cum. Out of every run I had only 1 had I gotten the tentacle scroll and with sex being used for rings and enemy stuns 50 just doesnt feel viable enough, especially in the later dungeons.

There are no plans at the moment for pregnancy as a game mechanic, but perhaps it could be added to some special run ending cinematics in the future.

There's an invisible wall directly opposite the anvil, just walk into the wall.
Can you bring the mobile version?
The game uses the .net branch of Godot 4 which doesn't support exporting to android and browser yet. But when they add it, sure.
LOVE THE GAME!!! it's great to see ero games that don't just do "sex for loss" cause that makes no sense, the sex is the reward or even better, part of the game!! I also adore the fact that in the H-scenes everyone looks like they're really loving it, i'm tired of rape and this is great! you are great! kudos!

This Game is Fantastic. Can I throw in my two cents, just so these ideas don't die in my head.
Just as an idea: subtle animation transformations, like if you find a cursed ring, you can see it on her hand changed to some malicious form and you can see it draining and hurting her, or it spawns an evil looking collar on her or something. and not just rings, swords, a sword can take on a malicious form and be bonded to her hand. and not just items but potions as well, the aphrodisiac potion could give her some bimbo form and the idle animation has a hip sway to it and you see it wear off as you make moves.
it's the little things that make the moment to moment gameplay that a little more exciting to look forward to.
and some throwaway one, more rough "phases" in sex animations (like penetration, gentle, rough, cum.), more tentacles for the Cun'thulu scene to make a little more other worldly and please please please let us turn her into a succubus or at least see one in the game, the rings all have to do with sex and cum it's hard not to think about it.
...and breath. Ok, ideas out of my head, just hope you find it. Again, fantastic game. like really this is awesome. and addictive.
