A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Hard Stuck is an erotic turn-based dungeon crawler inspired by the game that created the roguelike genre, "Rogue".
The goal of the game is to fight your way through a dungeon filled with monsters and traps to reach the last floor, discovering the functions of obfuscated items and interacting with various curios along the way.
The game can be played using keyboard, mouse or gamepad.
Features:

- Multiple monsters with unique sex scenes.

Requirements:
- A PC that can use the Vulkan graphics API (Or alternatively DirectX12 on windows).
Notes on the linux version:
- You may have to change the x86_64 files properties to be run as an executable to get it to work.
If you encounter any issues with getting the game to run, try starting it from the command line/terminal. It will display any error messages the game throws before crashing or locking up.

Good game but too difficult
nice game but there could be a possibility of them being on Steam, more content updates, and more types of mechanics in the sex scenes.

After some trial and error, it looks like an issue with the DirectX version, running with Vulkan fixed the problem.
Hello! ok, so, everything works just fine, except for my mc, she doesnt have skin, i mean, i can see its hair, clothes, accesories and weapons but not her skin. Its the same in the animations. pls helppp ive been tryna play this game but i dont know what to do

Sorry about that :P The 0.6.1 version fixes it.
Unfortunately I don't speak Chinese so that would be difficult.
But if you want to make one yourself, you can generate a translation template by pressing F3 on the main menu and then selection the top option.
Whoops found a bug in the 0.6 version. The Lava Siren is all messed up and looks like a monster from Spore. And when I tried making the MC and lava siren do stuff, the MCs breasts went in different directions. I tried smooth animations but I didnt launch the game with Vulkan. After further testing lava siren looks wonky no matter if I launch in vulkan or turn off smooth animations.
Dangit, I've been making a lot of changes to the character rigging in the early access branch.
And it seems one of the updated models snuck into this build.
I'll double check all the other models and put up a hotfix later today.
any idea why i cant install the game? i can install 0.5 but the option for 0.6 doesnt pop up in the download screen, and when i use the download button on the 0.6 it just gives a blank download and an error
I have a theory as to what the problem is. I assume you're also using the itch.io app and not downloading it off the webpage which I do too. If this is true then my theory is that Mr/Mrs Floppystack did something different in their upload than usual. On the app and on the web itch.io shows which files are marked for what specific device types as seen visually with the windows, linux, apple, and andriod symbols that way the files launch correctly and that you don't download the wrong type. We see that with v0.5 the symbols are next to the files however with v0.6 they have no symbols which leads to my theory that maybe a box wasn't checked or something when the files were uploaded. Anyways again just a theory (a game theory) as I am not a dev but just a long time player and am having the same problem as well with the app.
Sorry, I forgot to do the system icons. Hopefully it works better now.
Hey it's all good, even though this game is fan-fucking-tastic were all still human and make mistakes. Yes the app now allows for the update and it works. Thank you for all the hard work you have done developing this top tier game.

I think its very funny that the cursed ring of cum actually acts as sexual armor plating. so you actually want a -2 ring in some cases.
kinda wished you could purposefully curse stuff with like a tome of curses or somthing, would make runs alot more fun and difficult/easier
i know you can curse weapons by smashing mirrors, maybe by throwing other items at them

Are there any plan to have better audio mod support?
Current one is a hell of a work tbh.
I wish I could just replace the audio file itself.
Tried unpacking and replacing but some scenes broke.
I kinda like how it is now so I don't have any big plans for the audio. I guess I'm just used to staring at text editors all day.
But being able to easily swap out the default sound files from the mods folder is a great idea. I'll see what I can do.
Are there any plans on alternative endgame screens? Like a pregnancy one for example? Also, are there going to be more animations for the statues of Sedusa and Cunt'thulu? I am a great fan of the game and highly appreciate all your hard work, I'm just asking because the more i play this game the more I wanna play it. but I understand that it takes time. Thanks again and keep up the good work, I've been following this game since the earliest releases and I always find it growing better and better, so I tip my hat to you and I hope your talent is recognized and appreciated as much as it deserves to be.

You can press C on keyboard to change camera, pressing 1 time lets you control camera freely, pressing C again fixes the camera at the center of action and lets you rotate your view.
Any chance we'll get a first person option for cinematics? I think it'd be a nice POV.

This game is excellent! There are a few minor quibbles, like her boobs get stretched in the game window, and the gameplay needs some balancing (the members you recruit seem to cost too much for their usefulness, you don't gain much mana from killing monsters, etc...)
The game play is engaging. The seggs is at her request (Always a plus in an adult game in my opinion) and it's very hot animation wise. It's an nearly complete game, I would buy this if it were on steam!

Talk to the statue in the first neutral floor, to the right of the ghost. If you fuck the trader twice it is pretty easy to get 2-3 upgrades in the first loop.

Turning on AA in the dx12 version—or changing the mode more than one time—causes a crash. Vulkan doesn't have this issue, but my game seems to generally run better in dx12, so I've continued to use that regardless of the minor issue.
Also, two of the four default cameras in the kobold cowgirl scene (bedroom) seem to be obscured by the blankets or pillows (something blue).
Also also, the fade to black when using the first aid spell seems somewhat unnecessary, as if a cutscene was meant to go there but was forgotten. On the subject of cutscenes, the ability to skip the bath cutscene—at least after it has been obtained in each new run—would be a nice feature. (You can skip cutscene while the minotaur is regenerating, but not after it's ready.)
Also also also (since at this point I'm just editing this comment to include more stuff that I run into), I have had a handful of instances in which I reach the alien floor and it has only two of the required three buttons to reboot and enter ng+.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the AA option.
On my end it doesn't crash the game, but it freezes up my computer for a solid 10 seconds before working again.
It seems to work better in the newer Godot 4.6 build though.
Bed camera has already been fixed.
The minotaur skip is a bit tricky.
Ideally skipping would snap to the decision prompt, then another skip would end the cinematic.
And I've added an additional safety to the alien floor buttons.
When one of them is pressed, the game now fixes the total count if any are missing.

This game really is a shock to me, seeing the ascii map and the mechanics done so faithfully (or at least faithful to my half remembered memories) was a pleasant surprise. The visuals and aesthetic are fantastic. I really like how the Cum mechanic works in general, it's a cool take on a "sanity" system and the game's difficulty is pretty great for the sense of it being hard initially then becoming easy as you understand it. It is genuinely fun just as a game.
The only real feedback I would give is that the cum system, while balanced, can be a little tedious. Maybe add a few ways to shed cum at a faster rate, like a "mega fap" spell that costs 100 mana and drops 100. Using the mana rings instead of the regeneration ring feels balanced, except you have to pick carefully when to fuck, chain heal and chain pump out cum, which is a lot of clicking to the same effectiveness. Also maybe add some % based stuff, like perhaps the orb could reduce cum by half unlike the pumpkin's static amount? Lastly, maybe rework cum rings to reduce the amount of cum she takes on, but maybe that's in newer versions.
I ran this on an AMD card that had to use dx12 - my drivers are bad - but I experienced only two crashes. One while finishing the game and one while exposing the hidden walls. Pretty damn stable. There is a bug where, of all the settings, it won't save the capped framerate setting, though again maybe you've fixed already.

I'm a huge fan of this game, my one question is would you consider an option to scale down the breast size? I know we can go up to a ludacris level, but could we go down to flat?
Maybe, the character model kind of breaks when they get scaled down. So she would essentially need a second model to go flat.
And at this point, making any changes to the character model is a bit scary.
But I'll be reworking the outfit system in the coming months so I might find be an easier way to do it with the new system.
Can you add the scaling mode Nearest? I'm not a fan of Linear filtering

any idea why my game crashes when the NPC is cumming ? (im on dx12)
Because dx12 is experimental, I had the sam isues try running vulkan, every win 10 or 11 ( I supose ) comes with vulcan

What gpu and os are you running the game on?
The shader cache has a habit of causing problems in between versions so you could try deleting the "shader_cache" and "vulkan" folders at:
(windows): %appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\HardStuck\
(linux): ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/HardStuck

Might be an Intel driver issue? I honestly have no idea.
Godot uses Vulkan 1.4, which according to Intel's website is only supported on their newest battlemage gpus.
The next version will get a public release at the end of the month.
Most likely using a newer version of Godot, which might fix your problem as it works a lot better with dx12

This is honestly a very fun game, I really like the cursed/blessed mechanic which works well with the fact every item is unidentifiable at first, creating some risk and dead weight until you find an altar or, for better or for worse, finding a fountain and then debating if you wanna use it to identify something. this game lets you be pretty clever sometimes, like finding out a certain ring is more beneficial when cursed (I'd still prefer a regen ring). -oh and the animations are TOP notch, Chloe is peak character design, and most of all, I love the fact that it can still be a game game and not just a porn game. Keep up the good work, FloppyStack! o7

How do I carry out the mission of : catch the bath voyeur red handed.?
there's an entrance to a secret passage in the wall on the right side of the entrance to the bath, go all the way to the end of it and then enter the bath. a new version of the cinematic should play.
game just freezes when i load it and then nothing happenes, i cant interact with anything either
Check the newest log file at:
%appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\HardStuck\logs
It's just text file so you can open it in any text editor. There might be an error message in the file that says what the problem is.
Alternatively you can run the game from the command line and the messages will show up there.
i notice that chloe's boobs kind of freak out whenever she moves a spot and it's a little distracting and makes me really not want to go nude top at all, since it's not as noticeable with a shirt on. minor issue, and i'm not entirely sure if it's fixable but if it could be mitigated a bit that would be very much appreciated.
also, i would love to be able to mix and match components from separate outfits rather than being stuck with a certain outfit and its options! again, minor, but it would be a great QOL addition.
Yeah, the boobs in dungeon mode need to be toned down a bit, it's mainly because she moves at mach 10 when stepping to a new tile.
And I will be remaking the outfit system at some point, mixing outfit parts is something that gets requested often and will be a priority.

Is there some way to unlock the framerate? my pc is as beefy as a pc can be and everything still looks choppy D:
The character animations are locked at 16fps intentionally and aren't tied to the game's framerate, or do you mean the entire game is lagging?
Ahh that explains it, that is what I meant Framerate is constant, just low, was just wondering if there was a way to raise it
The only thing limiting the game's general framerate is vsync. So if you disable it the game should run uncapped.
It might be just a me issue, but whenever i try to turn on the game i have no textures for both player character and the monsters, i tried reinstalling, purging files (at least the ones i could find) and i still have the same issue, any ideas on what i could do?
from what i see from logs, every time there's my character or an NPC, it says that there is no boneattachment
It sounds like a shader loading/compilation issue.
You mentioned the logs, does the second line in the log say the game is using Vulkan/DX12 or OpenGL?
And are you on windows or linux? Also what gpu are you running the game on
The line says Vulkan 1.4.315, i am using windows 10 with AMD Radeon RX 5700
And it also happens in the dx12 build?
There was a gpu driver from AMD a few months ago that broke all Godot games using vulkan, but I'm pretty sure they fixed it for all their cards.
The only other thing I can thing of is to delete the shader_cache and vulkan folders next to the logs foder.
