Hey floppy.

I work on one French translation of the game and i've found a bug.

The \n combination, in the .txt file, does not activate line breaks in the translation.

Look at the photos.

Original Version:

Translated Version:

And some texts was missing when i generate the template.

Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it.

Ok, my English isn't very good but I want a little help, I've been trying to download the game or rather, enter it, the game downloads, but I have to go to Warar or something like that, I don't know much about programs, but when I enter the file or where it says the game theme, nothing appears to me, I don't know if it's a problem with my PC or if it's the download itself but nothing works, do I have to compress the game file or... something else? Please, help this poor soul

(+1)

The files that end with .7z are compressed, most modern windows installs can extract the files by just right clicking the file and selecting the "extract all" option. If you do not have this option you will need to download 7zip, which can be downloaded at www.7-zip.org.

Okay, I have Windows 11 Pro. Which of the first two should I download? I'm going to download what you sent me. Thanks for the help.

It doesn't work, I've done everything but nothing happens, it just keeps giving me an error, I can't extract anything, I already downloaded what you told me but the problem is that I don't know how to use it

(1 edit) (+1)

What does the error message say? Windows 11 should be able to extract the archive even without installing 7zip. The topmost 7zip download should be the one you want ( Windows x64 (64-bit) ).

Without 7zip:
1. Right click and select "Extract All".
2. Select a destination or just leave as default.
3. The extraction process will create a new folder with all the game files.
4. Open the folder and run HardStuck.exe.

With 7zip:
1. Right click and select 7zip/Extract to "HardStuck.......".
2. The extraction process will create a new folder with all the game files.
3. Open the folder and run HardStuck.exe.

You could also try downloading the game again, if the download got interrupted it might have corrupted the archive file.

Linux version won't run

You might have to right click the x86_64 file, go to properties and enable it to run as an executable. Other than that any additional info like CPU, GPU and linux distro would be helpful.

Also is this your first time running the game or have you played previous versions?

(2 edits)

First time running, I have it marked as executable.

Linux distro is Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon

Processor is 12th gen  Intel Core  i3-1215U * 6

Graphics card is Intel Corporation Device 46b3

Also do I need the vulkan graphics API on the linux version? If so can you give me a link? ty.

I use the same distro to test the game before uploading so it should be fine, that's with an AMD gpu though. My guess is that there is an issue between the intel gpu driver and the game engine.
According to wikipedia the gpu you listed supports Vulkan 1.3 under linux so that should also be fine. If the gpu didn't have vulkan support, Godot should display a popup message letting users know.

If you run the game from the terminal, it should contain some .net error messages if the game crashes. They might shed some light on the problem.

Ran it through terminal. Any idea what this means?

The game appearently requires a newer version of GLIBC than the one included in Linux Mint 21.3. You can probably update it or perform a system upgrade with apt.

Did NOT expect to see really good gameplay as well as well animated sex scenes. Absolutely LOVE this game 😍.
This might sound sappy, but I’d love to be able to grow closer to your allies. Like softer sex scenes or aftercare or something. Tho the game is still absolutely amazing without it ❤️

(1 edit) (+1)

Is it possible to have a mode where your STR upgrades, gear and inventory isn't lost upon game over? Game still seems to be impossible to get past floor 3 or so because the RNG is just too brutal. You think you're doing good and suddenly get attacked by a sahagin that two-shots you because it's been enhanced by something or a mimic spawns (those should be limited to lower floors, by the way. They're a sure way to die instantly on level 1.)

Letting the player just keep their progress would slowly let them go forward.
EDIT: Also, please just remove the "There is nothing to interact with." text prompt from when you accidentally mouseclick on the ground. It's pointless and cannot be closed by any other means than a mouseclick on the window. Just frustrating and aggravating and serves no purpose.

I cant get this to run, I downloaded both window versions and it crashes everytime any advice?

What are your system specs? GPU, Windows version and so on. The only real requirement for running the game is a GPU with DX12 or Vulkan support.

If you've played earlier versions then you might need to navigate to %appdata%\Godot\app_userdata in the file browser and move/remove the "HardStuck" folder. There could be some conflicts with old shader caches or something similar.

This was the best "game" I've played in a while I love the scenes the gameplay was confusing at first but i understood it quick i hope the dev continues to make this game better and other games.

yeah why is this game actually fun lmao. Cant wait to see more content!

This game is incredibly good, can't wait for more

I honestly did not expect this game to be this fun. Looking forward to future updates.

Can you make all cosmetics compatible with each other? Btw one of the best games out there

If it's doable then yes.
I need to do some redesigns of the customization menu at some point, so I'll look into it then.

Will there be chance be an android built? Asking for a friend

The game uses the .net branch of Godot which doesn't support export to android yet. But it looks like web export might be coming in the next engine update. In theory web builds should work in any browser regardless of the OS.

Okay, I freely admit... I enjoyed this game far more than my initial issues with it would've led me to believe.  Once you figure the game out and get over the Godot loading strangeness, it's fairly fluid and easy to navigate/play.

The part that always had me smiling was the stupid bouncyness and audio to match during the H scenes.  I even laughed at a couple of them, this part of the game was very well done.

It does have significant room for improvement/expansion/QoL changes.  Won't go into detail here... needs a Discord server and free invites to collab with Dev if they choose to seek input.

Anyway, more fun than a super non-serious, semi-retro, adult, flashback dungeon crawler with more updated graphics can be expected to be.  Get this on Steam and I'll be happy to add to the money pile.

BTW, Dx12 doesn't work on older windows GPU cards.  Use vulkan, that build works fine.  It's sad that Godot seems to separate graphics functions like this.

I assumed the dx12 build would have better compatibility with older hardware but there seem to be more people having problems with it than the vulkan build.

The windows build is supposed to switch to the the other rendering API automatically at launch if there are any compatibility issues, but I guess it crashes before it can do so.

Ok, this may have been answered before but i am curious and cannot seem to scroll far enough. How does the cum mechanic work? I notice it increases over time if you are Depleting cum but not sure if it is closer to full (risk it for the reward) or any cum will do

The max value increases by one fifth of the drained amount or something along those lines. I'm changing how the max value is increased in the next update.

The game is best of class, so whatever you decide I will be playing!

I fuck with this game so heavy. please dont stop updating it

cant open game , game crash instant ''godot engine not repons''  i have dx12

Does the same thing happen in the vulkan build or is it just the dx12 build? Do any error messages appear if you run the game from the command line?

Any additional information about your computer would also be helpful. Like gpu, windows version and so on.

For some reason my game crashes after every single H-scene. I'm using the dx12 version and I made sure I actually had dx12 installed. When I get a Game Over, I can keep playing, but any kind of scene makes the game freeze and crash.

Could you add hints in the gallery? Since the game isn't very easy (not difficult but it's not the breeze through everything with one hand), randomly testing the monsters combination to see which one unlock a special animation can be quite frustrating.

Also, how the summoning tome work? On one floor, I summoned a succubus but on the next one I summoned a ghost.

Small question: do you plan meta progression or do you want to do a pure roguelike?

Also, you should make that you earn bits even if a follower/summon (or a monster) kill an enemy.

The gallery displays a hint if you try to play a locked cinematic. I need to redesign the whole gallery menu at some point since it's getting so crowded so I'll try to add the hints to the actual menu.

The summoning tome tries to copy any enemy on the current floor, and enchantment levels changes the floor the enemies are sampled from. If it can't find any enemies it will default to spawning haunted skulls. It's a bit clunky so I need to just make a fixed pool of monsters it can clone from instead.

I want to keep the game as a pure roguelike. But I'm thinking that outfits and alternate player characters can be meta unlocks.

Having followers is a bit too strong at the moment so consider them not giving bits to be the intentional downside for now :P

Oh, sorry for the hints. Since I didn't see the point of clicking on locked cinematic, I didn't see the hints.

Also, I don't find followers that strong. I even found them annoying since they die pretty quickly and are useless in corridor. I would agree that ranged summons are strong but since summons are random, it doesn't happen that often.

In all my runs, I just went "succubus deity" + buying as much strength as possible and that was pretty much it.

i hope you dont make the game only directx12. (or vulcan)

The plan was to have them both in the same build and then add in the ability to swap between them while ingame once Godot added that feature. But there seems to be a lot of people that are having issues with dx12 so I'll be stripping it out of the vulkan build completely from now on.

There will still be a dx12 version of any given build just in case people are having issues with vulkan though.

Damn, I'm always focused on unlocking galleries, which leads to the game ending early, is there any good way to beat the game? Or is there a God mode?

(+1)

you can always return to a floor to unlock a specific scene, assuming you left a mob alive...
otherwise, cum decreases with time, and you can use pumpkins to "clean" it

Hey there, I have a question about the game. Will there ever be an addition to the game to include the inflated belly feature even while moving in the levels? In addition, will there be a pregnancy feature?

(1 edit) (+1)

The belly scaling while moving through the dungeon is tied to the cum meter. At 200 cum the belly is at 100% scaling, assuming the cumflation feature is turned on in the settings.

As for pregnancy? I don't know. there have been a lot of requests for it, but I'm not too keen on adding it as a game mechanic. If I were to add it to a cinematic it would probably be in a happy ending style game over or something.

Edit: Formatting.

I mean  it could be used as a follower mechanic. Higher cum levels increasing odds of pregnancy and you add each encounter to a list and with a for loop pick randomly one of the monsters to be her father. You could even further influence the stats of the monster follower via statue buffs. Due to the nature of the dungeon. The rate at which monsters grow to adulthood is faster, so giving birth takes maybe like 2 turns and monster grows to adulthood in 4 turns.

This is just an idea and you don’t have to of course take it seriously. If you don’t want to add it as a mechanic then don’t.

That's very kind of you, I only have the patreon and itch at the moment. But if they are banned in your country wouldn't the other major sites also be banned?
